Hello, I'm Sanya H.
I believe in the potential of all people. Coming from a hybrid-cultural background and a neurodivergent family, I have experienced first-hand the joys and challenges of 'not fitting in the box'. Often, all it takes is some effective learning strategies, along with the support of someone who recognizes our potential to lift us up. Studying at the University of Guelph, I came across so many brilliant people; simultaneously, I became aware of the barriers that many students and learners faced. As a Teaching Assistant, I supported students through course completion, recognizing how challenging it can be to ask for help from a professor or instructor. After facing a serious health condition that impacted my graduate studies, I developed and learned strategies through various resources to support the successful completion of my Master's in Landscape Architecture. I observed through adult learning workshops that even the brightest Phd students used support and were healthier and more engaged for it. I also have a BFA in Dance, and I think creative expression and movement help balance our minds. I would be happy to facilitate your movement expression in a private movement session or be a companion in a movement class. I believe we can be ourselves and succeed collaboratively with others, and that the world will be better for it.
